Leopoldo Garcia joined E.F. Alvarez & Company in 1991. He performs in audits and reviews of financial statements as well as heading the financial statements review process.  

Leopoldo regularly assists clients in the implementation and evaluation of business controls and processes while identifying risks and recommending solutions.     

His career has spanned over four decades at an international level. Prior to joining E.F. Alvarez, he held the position of chief accountant for several organizations including Artes Gráficas Torralba in Spain and Executive Life Insurance, which, in the early 1990s was the largest insurance company in California.

Leopoldo also worked as a controller for companies such as Lums Restaurants, Inc., Bootery, Inc., Corbanca Construction, and Miami Duty Free. In addition, he was the accounting supervisor for Royal Palm Beach Colony, a land developing company.  

Leopoldo graduated from the University of Havana in 1962 with a degree in accounting.
